Today, the official welcoming ceremony for Kazakh President
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took place at the Lions’ Courtyard of the Royal Palace in
Budapest. The Head of State is on a state visit to Hungary. Prime Minister
Viktor Orbán greeted him with the fanfare of a military orchestra. The Head of
the Guard of Honor gave a welcoming report, followed by the national anthems of
both countries. The Honor Guard and Horse Guards then performed a ceremonial
march. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Viktor Orbán introduced the members of their
official delegations to one another.
