Around a hundred works by renowned Kazakh artist Kamil
Mullashev are featured in the exhibition titled «Reflections of Time». This
solo exhibition, held at the National Museum of Kazakhstan in honor of the
artist’s 80th anniversary, celebrates his long and prolific career, during
which the Kazakh Artists’ Union member has created thousands of works across
various genres. His art has gained international recognition and continues to
be showcased in prestigious galleries and museums worldwide. Some pieces are
held in private collections in countries including Liechtenstein, France,
England, the U.S., Canada, Russia, Türkiye, China, and Japan. Art experts and
connoisseurs note that Mullashev’s work reflects a profound connection to his
era, capturing time with a unique sensitivity that captivates viewers from the
very first glance.
«I am amazed by his uniqueness; his work is unmatched. He is
versatile and able to work in all genres. Each of his pieces is philosophically
distinct, and in every work, one can see something personal that resonates with
the soul. He is truly original. I encourage young people to explore the works
of artists like him,» said artisan Gulzira Sarsenbayeva.
«I have paintings that have been exhibited in numerous
international exhibitions, including Florence, Italy; Dubai; Moscow; Los
Angeles; and currently in France. They showcase a wide variety of styles,
encompassing both modern and classical, as well as various genres such as
realism, surrealism, and impressionism. I received excellent professional
training in realism,» Mullashev said.
