An exhibition marking the 30th anniversary of the Assembly
of the People of Kazakhstan (APK) has opened in Astana. It features around 100
exhibits from the archival, library, and museum collections of the Presidential
Center, including photographs, historical documents, and national costumes of
various ethnic groups living in Kazakhstan. The exhibition consists of two
sections: the first highlights the history of the Assembly’s formation and
development, while the second focuses on interethnic and national harmony.
Additionally, in honour of the anniversary, works by artists are also on display.
«This is one of our annual events. The Presidential Center
is currently hosting two exhibitions: one that opened today to mark the
Assembly's 30th anniversary, and another featuring works by Kazakh and Austrian
artists,» said Botagoz Kaipova, deputy director of Kazakhstan’s Presidential
Center.
