The interaction between
Kazakhstan and China is reaching a new qualitative level, particularly in
cultural and informational exchange. The establishment of the Kazakh Cultural
Center in China and the Chinese Cultural Center in Kazakhstan marks a new
chapter in bilateral relations in these areas. In an exclusive interview with
Silk Way TV channel on the sidelines of the SCO Summit, Kazakh Minister of
Culture and Information Aida Balayeva highlighted that the two countries intend
to collaborate on a wide range of issues. This includes intensifying efforts to
combat the spread of false and fake information and focusing on developing
projects in literature, concert performances, and visual arts. Recently, the
Kazakh Cultural Center in Beijing has officially opened, Balayeva noted.
«The Kazakh Cultural Center has
set up a dedicated office in the bustling Arbat area in Beijing, known for its
high tourist traffic. I believe that the activities of our center will help
promote Kazakh culture, art, and history more extensively, while also fostering
closer collaboration across all areas,» Balayeva said.
