The Days of Kazakh Culture are being held in the Russian capital. Residents
and visitors of Moscow have the opportunity to explore Kazakhstan’s rich
culture and history at an exhibition in the Tretyakov Gallery. The display,
titled “Masterpieces of Kazakh Art,” features more than 60 paintings and
sculptures from the 20th century.
Theatrical performances have also been brought to Moscow. For the first
time, audiences were introduced to the psychological drama “Parasat Maidany,”
based on the works of the classic Kazakh writer Tolen Abdikov. The play was
performed by actors from the Kuanyshbayev Kazakh Music and Drama Theatre.
The Days of Kazakh Cinema were also held in Moscow. Audiences were
presented with films across six genres, including “Summer of 1941,” “Stop,
Night,” “Dos-Mukasan,” and the animated film “Altyn Adam” (Golden Man), among
others.
