Kazakhstan’s national pavilion at the World
EXPO in Osaka welcomed its 100,000th visitor. It was a 37-year-old resident of
Nara, Akiba Akihito, the project manager of a Japanese association of private financial
initiatives. According to him, the Kazakh display attracts guests with
well-thought-out content and high-tech exhibits. The man emphasized that he
would be glad to visit Kazakhstan one day.
«I was impressed by the Kazakh pavilion. The
video presentation about the Saka culture and the Golden Man especially struck
me. It was also fascinating to learn about the formation of the Kazakh Khanate.
It was informative how you managed to combine history and new technologies. The
ALEM device is an excellent example of how Kazakhstan looks to the future
without forgetting its roots. Thanks to the organizers for the opportunity to
learn more about this amazing country’s rich culture and history,» Akihito said.
The Kazakhstan pavilion showcases the country’s
history, culture, traditions and customs, way of life, tourism, innovation, as
well as investment and economic potential. The World EXPO in Osaka will run
until October, featuring participation of 158 countries and nine international
organizations.
