The Days of Kazakh Culture were held in Armenia. On the
first day, audiences had the opportunity to watch some of the best works of modern
Kazakh cinema. The event opened with a screening of the historical drama ‘The Kazakh
Khanate. The Golden Throne’. The program also featured films such as ‘Stop,
Night’, ‘Patriots Time’, and the Kazakhfilm studio’s animated movie ‘Why the
Swallow Has the Tail with Little Horns?’.
The highlight of the Days of Kazakh Culture was a gala
concert featuring honored cultural figures, distinguished artists, and popular
performers. They presented well-known songs and traditional folk compositions. Additionally,
a park named after Abai Kunanbaiuly was opened on Almaty Street in Yerevan.
Guests were introduced to books by the great Kazakh poet and offered
traditional national dishes. Trees were also planted in the park as a symbol of
strengthening cooperation and the development of cultural ties between the two
countries. Notably, over 3,000 people attended the events held as part of the
festival.
