Chinese President Xi Jinping is
set to pay a state visit to Kazakhstan starting from July 2 at the personal
invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Akorda press service
reports. The distinguished guest is expected to participate in the 24th meeting
of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization,
which will take place in Astana on July 3-4. During this time, UN
Secretary-General António Guterres is also set to make an official visit to
Kazakhstan.
