President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev continues to
strengthen strategic partnership with the European Union. In Brussels, the Head of State met with European Commissioner for Trade
and Economic Security Maroš Šefčovič, the European Union Special Representative
for Central Asia Eduards Stiprais, and Vice-President
of the European Investment Bank Marek Mora. The Head of State
noted that the agreements and memoranda signed during the visit confirm
European business confidence in the country’s economy. Maroš Šefčovič stated
that President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s visit opens a new chapter in relations
between the European Union and Kazakhstan. The parties
agreed to continue implementing joint initiatives.
