A multifunctional
center will open in Astana. Kazakh Minister of Trade and Integration Arman
Shakkaliyev and the Vice President of the Chinese company Jiangsu SOHO Holdings
Group Ding Hai discussed the center’s creation. Notably, the idea of opening
the center is based on the experience of the unique trade platform «Central
Asia – Jiangsu» in Nanjing, where companies from the region, including
Kazakhstan, are located and actively cooperate. The new multifunctional center
will also include a trade pavilion, a cultural center, and the company’s
office. Kazakhstan will provide comprehensive support at all stages of the
project’s implementation.
«The project will
serve as an important platform for the development of international trade and
business, offering a wide range of services, including the showcasing of Chinese
and Kazakh goods, conducting business negotiations and contract signing with
international partners, trade transaction processing services, consulting
services, and more,» noted Aliya Abdrakhmanova, Spokesperson for the Kazakh
Ministry of Trade and Integration.
Notably, from January
to November 2024, the volume of mutual trade between Kazakhstan and China
exceeded $27 billion. The country’s exports to China
increased, reaching $13.5 billion.
