Cassation courts will
begin operating in Kazakhstan starting July 1 next year, as reported by
Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council Dmitry Malakhov to President Kassym-Jomart
Tokayev. The meeting also focused on further enhancing the Council’s
activities, including efforts aimed at improving and renewing the judiciary,
developing the Academy of Justice, and strengthening the disciplinary
accountability of judges. Malakhov emphasized that the digitalization of all
business processes and the competitive selection procedures is also planned.
