APK youth wing projects expand internationally

The Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan is preparing to hold its 34th session. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Assembly, with over 400 major events planned across the country. During a meeting of the APK Council in Astana, Parliament members, heads of ethnocultural associations, and various Assembly structures discussed the results of their work and future plans. According to Timur Jumurbayev, Chairman of the ‘Assambleya Zhastary’ organization, members of the APK’s youth wing are actively initiating various projects, including international ones. These projects aim to consolidate and develop the younger generation while supporting their initiatives through interaction with young professionals and students.

«Extensive work is currently being done with students and schoolchildren, and student assemblies are being established. These platforms also offer young people opportunities to engage in constructive activities. Youth will be integrated into all projects. Additionally, the «Assambleya Zhastary» organization has an extensive plan - likely involving around a thousand events - that will take place in various regions, in different formats, reaching diverse categories of young people,» noted Timur Jumurbayev, Chairman of the Assambleya Zhastary organization.
