Kazakhstan has become a leader in the adoption of artificial intelligence among countries in Central Asia and the Eurasian Economic Union. This topic has become one of the main focuses at the New Vision business forum, which is currently taking place in Almaty. AI technologies are now being actively implemented across a wide range of sectors, from education and public administration to the economy and business. Companies are increasingly using neural networks and digital technologies in their daily operations to adapt more quickly to changing conditions and improve efficiency. The forum has brought together more than 4,500 entrepreneurs, experts, and investors. Participants are discussing global trends, market shifts, and the future of business in the AI era.
«Companies that do not adapt to these new standards will fall behind. Kazakhstan is, of course, fortunate in its resource base, but if we truly want to adapt, we must move into AI, new standards, and new directions. Artificial intelligence will be one of the key drivers,» said entrepreneur Berik Kaniyev.
The development of technology is creating new opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses. Entrepreneurs are increasingly using digital tools and modern technologies to identify new areas for growth. Last year, the contribution of SMEs to Kazakhstan’s economy reached 40% of GDP. According to experts, the more active entrepreneurs and growing companies a country has, the more resilient its economy becomes and the greater its potential for further development.
«When we rely solely on a
few large organizations, if something happens to them, tax revenues can be
affected. But when there is a large number of small and medium-sized
businesses, each contributing a little, they collectively generate tax
revenues. In this sense, overall budget inflows represent a diversification of
risks for the country as a whole,» said
entrepreneur
Dulat Tastekey.
