Abai’s portrait appears on Ferris wheel in Astana

A portrait of Abai has been displayed on the Ferris wheel in Astana to mark the 180th birth anniversary of the renowned Kazakh poet and thinker. This image, created using LED lighting, spans 65 meters and comprises 53,000 pixels. It can be seen from various points throughout the city. The Ferris wheel will also display some of Abai’s quotes.
