A total of 20 commercial
documents worth $4.85 billion were signed during Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart
Tokayev’s visit to Dubai. Foreign investors are ready to finance several projects
in the fields of green energy, infrastructure and IT. According to the Kazakh
Invest National Company, agreements were reached for the construction of a wind
power plant in the country. Besides, there are plans to develop a project for
building wind power plants with energy storage systems in the Zhetisu region.
Another project may be implemented in the Zhambyl region. Documents were also
signed for strategic partnerships in creating a mechanism for joint financing
of venture projects, implementing forest climate projects and supplying natural
uranium concentrates.
