Kazakhstan’s investments in fixed assets amounted to over 755 billion tenge in January 2023. The growth exceeded 18 percent compared to the same period last year, the Bureau of National Statistics reports. Minin remained the most attractive industry in terms of investment, having attracted about 43 percent of the capital. Over 270 billion tenge have been invested in crude oil and gas production. Real estate transactions are in second place. They account for about a fifth of all investments, namely 163 billion tenge. The manufacturing industry, metallurgy, transport, and warehousing attracted the least amount of investment.
