On the eve of Independence Day, the results of the national creative competition «Uly Dala» were announced in Astana. Held for the fifth consecutive year, the literary contest has already become a tradition. This year’s event was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the prominent writer Berdibek Sokpakbayev, a classic of Kazakh children’s literature. Organized by the Amanat party, the competition accepted submissions from August to October, with 150 authors making it to the final round. Winners were announced in five categories: Poetry, Prose, Children's Literature, Drama, and Literary Criticism. They were awarded special prizes.

«Our common goal is to serve the people and work diligently for the future of our country. A true example of honest service to the interests of the people and the state is set by our President, Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev. He places particular emphasis on values such as justice, honesty, patriotism, diligence, including honest labor. These values strengthen the spiritual bonds of the people. I am confident that these values and the positive changes in the country should be reflected in your works,» noted Yerlan Koshanov, Kazakh Mazhilis Chairperson and the Chairman of the Amanat Party.
