announced a series of upcoming events with the participation of President
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. President of the Democratic Republic of Congo Denis
Sassou Nguesso is expected to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan at Tokayev’s invitation
on August 2-3. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will arrive on August
7 for a two-day state visit. Astana will host the Sixth Consultative Meeting of
the Heads of State of Central Asia on August 9.
