The third repatriation flight from Poland with Kazakh citizens evacuated from Ukraine landed tonight at the airport in Nur-Sultan. The plane carried 133 passengers, including children and two Kyrgyz citizens. It bears reminding that the first repatriation flight arrived in Almaty on February 28, and the second one landed in Nur-sultan on March 1.
“We had a great flight. Kazakhstan helped us completely from start to finish. We didn't need anything. I was just visiting and got into this situation,” a passenger said.
“It was very scary, I heard explosions in Kyiv. On the morning of the 24th, war was declared. There was nowhere to go. I wanted to run away, but everything was closed, all the airports were closed. We stayed there overnight because there was nowhere to go. There was traffic everywhere. People just ran. And then at night we went to the shelter,” another passenger added.
