500 grants allocated for double degree programs

Kazakh students will get an opportunity to get a double degree diploma of international standard. The branch of the University of Arizona based in the North Kazakhstan State University is currently running the admission process of its first-ever students in scientific, agro-technological and IT specialties. Last year, the Kazakh Ministry of Education and Science and two universities signed a trilateral cooperation agreement, and 500 grants were allocated for double degree diploma programs.

“Kozybayev University has a strategic partnership with the University of Arizona. This opens up great prospects for Kazakh applicants. Firstly, it is obtaining a double degree diploma of international standard, mastering a high-demand profession. In addition, it gives an opportunity to attend classes with leading professors from Kazakhstan and the U.S. in the Kazakh, Russian and English languages, and provides access to databases of two universities. At the same time, it is worth noting that training program will be implemented on a grant basis, that is, it will be absolutely free for admitted students, including the studies at the University of Arizona in the last semester,” said Ricky Salazar, Director of Strategic Initiatives, University of Arizona.

The process of submitting documents has been maximally simplified. It is carried out both in online and offline formats for applicants’ convenience.
