State Counsellor Erlan Karin chaired a regular meeting of
the Commission on the Fight against Corruption under the Kazakh President.
Participants reviewed the implementation of the OECD’s 5th monitoring round of
the Istanbul Anti-Corruption Action Plan. Reports were also presented on
measures taken to enhance national anti-corruption legislation and law
enforcement practice through the implementation of international standards. In
conclusion, Karin gave instructions for further cooperation with the
authoritative international organization.
