Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has voted in the referendum. The Head of State attended the polling station no. 59 in the Schoolchildren’s Palace in the capital. Chairman of the Senate Maulen Ashimbayev and Mazhilis Speaker Yerlan Koshanov have already voted. Kazakh Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov also used his constitutional right. He attended the capital’s polling station no. 111. It is worth noting that the national referendum stipulates amendments to the Constitution, involving 33 articles of the Basic Law.
