Starlink officially launches in Kazakhstan

Starlink is officially launching in Kazakhstan. Legal sales of satellite terminals are set to begin, providing high-speed, high-quality internet even in the most remote and hard-to-reach areas. Infrastructure facilities will now also gain access to reliable connectivity. Previously, the project operated in Kazakhstan in pilot mode, limited to rural schools.

«The official launch of Starlink satellite terminal sales is scheduled for the third quarter of 2025. They will be available for use by individuals, legal entities, and government agencies. The terminals can be effectively utilized in agriculture, industry, subsoil use, and other sectors of the economy,» noted Zhaslan Madiyev, Kazakh Minister of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry.
