Kazakh President receives Interior Minister

In Kazakhstan, active efforts are underway to enhance the safety of citizens. Places of mass gatherings, including schools, universities, shopping centers, concert halls, mosques, and churches, are under special control, with over 2,000 of them already tested for vulnerability to terrorist attacks. Today Kazakh Interior Minister Yerzhan Sadenov briefed President Tokayev on these measures and provided an update on migration control. Overall, the crime rate in Kazakhstan declined, Sadenov stressed.

“I briefed the Head of State on the progress of implementing his instructions to combat organized cyber and drug-related crime, as well as prevent offenses, including those related to daily life, eliminating flood consequences, ensuring road safety, and conducting unscheduled certification. President Tokayev has set specific objectives,” said Sadenov.
