Spanish experts will participate in the exploration of
Kazakhstan’s groundwater resources. Kazakh Minister of Water Resources and
Irrigation Nurzhan Nurzhigitov discussed the project’s implementation with
foreign specialists. This year, the parties plan to conduct an airborne
electromagnetic survey to map and identify groundwater reserves in western
Kazakhstan. The meeting also explored the possibility of securing a grant from
the Spanish government, with experts currently working on this initiative.
«Over the past year, our specialists have been actively
working with your company. During these meetings, we proposed three projects.
It seems we have reached an agreement on the Kokzhide deposit. Additionally, we
have other projects to propose during our meeting and are ready to continue
discussions,» Nurzhigitov said.
