Two gas processing plants, a new
compressor station, the Aktobe-Kostanai main gas pipeline, and the second line

Kazakhstan. These projects, aimed at ensuring the country’s energy security and
maintaining export levels, will be implemented in partnership with Qatar. This
was discussed today at an Energy Council meeting chaired by Prime Minister
Olzhas Bektenov. The main terms of the cooperation were also approved.
According to the Ministry of Energy and QazaqGaz national company, gas
production in Kazakhstan is expected to reach 60 billion cubic meters this
