Silk Way Star contest officially launched in Beijing

The first Asian music contest Silk Way Star has officially launched in Beijing. The grand opening ceremony was held as part of the SCO Forum on People-to-People Exchange. The project is jointly implemented by the Kazakh President’s TV and Radio Complex and China Media Group (CMG).

«For CMG, it is a great honor to organize such a large-scale show together with Kazakhstan. This step will significantly contribute to strengthening cultural ties among Asian countries. The project provides an opportunity to showcase Kazakh and Chinese cultures to the global community. In the future, we plan to continue similar joint projects and further enhance bilateral cooperation,» noted Wang Min, Deputy Director of the Center for Arts and Educational Programs, CMG.
