The unique art project, Shanyrak Hall, was unveiled at the office of the Permanent Mission of Kazakhstan to the United Nations in New York. The idea for creating such a Hall belongs to the Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to the UN, Magzhan Ilyassov. Thus, four white columns of the building were turned into picturesque landscapes of the country’s regions by artist Manat Tolegenov. The names of the columns are also symbolic, these are ‘North’, 'South’, ‘West’ and ‘East’. They literally serve as support for the Kazakh Shanyrak.
