An open-air festival “Balashym” will take place in Shymkent as part of the celebration of International Children’s Day. According to the organizers, 29 young artists from all over Kazakhstan will participate in the event. Among them are the winners of such contests as “Junior Eurovision”, “Bala dauysy”, “Zhuldyzai” and “Boztorgai”. The musical project will be available to Qazaq TV viewers on June 1.
“The junior festival Balashym will be held for the first time this year as part of the Children’s Day. In fact, people will not be able to visit the event due to the global situation. That is why we make only the TV version. The hosts of the evening will be Aminka-Vitaminka and Makpal Isabekova. The shootings will be held in an open-air format. Genres will vary. Various children will perform, including children with disabilities. We covered all genres – pop, English, Kazakh, traditional songs will be performed. I hope that this project will be very interesting and delicious,” said the producer Zhan Mukanov.
If this year the event will be held in the format of a festival, next year it will be a competition. The organizers hope that it will become international in the future.
