The working visit of Kazakh
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the Akmola region began with a tour to the
1,500 place school-gymnasium in the town of Kosshy. The school, located in a
new district, was built with private investments and in accordance with the
standards of the Comfortable School national project. The facility includes
classrooms for computer science, chemistry, physics, biology, technology,
robotics, mobile photography, virtual driving training, and foreign languages,
as well as assembly and sports halls. The Head of State spoke with teachers and
students, wishing them success in the new academic year. He also presented his
book titled «The Word about the Father» and a school bus of domestic
production.
«For Kazakhstan to become an
advanced state, it’s essential to study important fields such as robotics. This
knowledge will always be in demand. The younger generation should strive for
education,» said the Head of State.
President Tokayev also
familiarized himself with the infrastructure development plan for Kosshy. Since
it was granted the status of a town of regional significance in 2021, the
population has grown to 110,000 people. As part of the master plan, it is planned
to build 1.5 million square meters of housing and 45 social facilities,
including schools, kindergartens, and hospitals. The Head of State instructed
the region’s governor to focus on the modernization of the city’s engineering
and utility infrastructure and gas pipeline construction. President Tokayev also
visited a semi-finished product manufacturing plant, which received state
financial support. Raw materials are delivered from poultry farms in the
region, and the finished products are sold both in the country and exported to the
Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states.
Additionally, the Head of State
visited the village of Rodina, where he familiarized himself with the local culture
house, choreographic and sports halls, a recording studio, and various clubs. As
part of social responsibility of business, the Rodina agricultural company has
allocated nearly 800 million tenge for the village development.
«First of all, I would like to greet
everyone. I came here today on purpose; I have heard a lot about Ivan Sauer’s
farm. I have repeatedly promised to pay a visit, but was able to come today. I
am very pleased to see you all! The farm is huge and advanced in all respects,»
said the Kazakh President.
Besides, President Tokayev toured
a supermarket, a park, a school and, of course, the production facilities of
the Rodina agricultural company, including a milking center and a dairy plant.
Today, the enterprise operates on advanced European technologies and produces
50 tonnes of milk per day, along with several types of products. Notably, there
are 15 dairy plants in the Akmola region. Also, seven dairy farms are currently
under construction in the region, with over 13 billion tenge allocated for
project financing.
