Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev discussed enhancing the efficiency of the state audit and financial control system with Chairman of the Supreme Audit Chamber Alikhan Smailov. The Head of State emphasized that the task of the Supreme Audit Chamber is to ensure strict oversight over the effective and rational use of budgetary funds and state assets. On his part, Smailov reported on the Chamber’s plans for the current year and the future development of the state audit system.
