EU to invest 20 billion euros in Kazakhstan

The center for the production and distribution of renewable energy and green hydrogen will be built in Kazakhstan. It will be located in the Mangystau region. The corresponding agreement was signed during the official visit to Astana of European Council President Charles Michel. The ‘Hyrasia One’ company will implement the construction of the center. Solar and wind power plants will also be installed in the region. The total investment is estimated at 20 billion euros, says Timur Suleimenov, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the President of Kazakhstan.
