Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Chairman of
the Senate of the Egyptian Parliament Abdel Wahab Abdel Razeq, noting that his first
visit to Kazakhstan is intended to give new impetus to strengthening bilateral
interparliamentary relations. The interlocutors discussed issues of developing
parliamentary diplomacy and enhancing cooperation between the two countries in
trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres. The Head of State invited
Egyptian companies to jointly implement investment projects in the transport
and transit industry, tourism, and digitalization.
