Today, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with
representatives of domestic businesses. The strategic goal outlined by the Head
of State is to strengthen the economy in order to maintain and enhance
Kazakhstan’s leading role in the region. This goal should become a central
element of the national idea. It is already clear that development is only
possible through a change in approach. Therefore, the country will need to
undergo a comprehensive transformation and adapt to new realities. In his speech,
President Tokayev highlighted the importance of establishing a productive
partnership between the government and businesses. He believes that the
priorities for economic development should include major infrastructure and
industrial projects, digitalization and artificial intelligence, as well as the
advancement of transport and logistics. At the same time, small and
medium-sized businesses will not be overlooked. Support for entrepreneurs will
remain a continuous focus for the government.
