The export of Kazakh goods to the
Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries has increased. Since the beginning of
2023, Kazakhstan has shipped products worth around $8 billion, marking a nearly
12 percent increase compared to the previous year, according to the Bureau of
National Statistics. Overall, trade turnover between Kazakhstan and the EAEU
member states exceeded $20.5 billion in the first nine months of the year. It
is worth noting that vehicles and equipment occupy the largest share in exports
to EAEU countries, closely followed by products from chemical industries.
Import goods consist mainly of animal and vegetable products, finished food
products, and metals.
