An educational and informative trip to the historical homeland! Representatives of the public organization "Orenburg Regional Kazakh National-Cultural Autonomy" visit Kazakhstan. Until the end of the week, they will take part in master classes on national culture, customs and the state language. All this was organized by the staff of the Otandastar Foundation in Nur-Sultan. According to Aigerim Bizhanova, the main goal of the tour is to popularize cultural, spiritual, national values among the Kazakhs of Russia. More than 120,000 Kazakhs live in Orenburg today. The public organization “Regional Kazakh National Cultural Autonomy” has been operating since 2008.
“We have an Autonomous Cultural Center in the city of Orenburg. It is engaged in many areas, for example, in the field of education. We covered 5 areas. First of all, this is the study of the native language. Kazakh language, dombyra, dance and history classes were opened to develop traditions and crafts. This trip is of great importance. In the course of it, we will receive a lot of new and useful information, which we will pass on to our compatriots living in Russia. They should know how our ancestors lived, what traditions and customs are now preserved. Our goal is to pass down all this knowledge to the younger generation,” said Aigerim Bizhanova, a spokesperson, ‘Orenburg Regional Kazakh National and Cultural Autonomy’ Public Organization.
