The pandemic is not over yet. Kazakh Health Ministry confirms that it is too early to let our guard down. Over the past 24 hours, Kazakhstan recorded 61 new cases of infection in the regions. The country’s two main cities top the list. 13 new cases were detected in Nur-Sultan and 41 in Almaty. In this regard, the Committee of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control reminds of the importance of vaccination, revaccination and compliance with sanitary requirements.
“The pandemic is not over yet. Our epidemiological situation was stable and it is still stable according to our formula. Now it has already been two weeks since we noticed an increase in the infection rate. An increase in cases is very high. In May, there were a maximum of five infected people per day, today there are 61. When there are more than 100 infected people per day, which means that a region moves into the red zone, then it is time to raise the alarm,” said Yerzhan Baitanaev, Official Representative of the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Control.
