All parties of the Astana Process on Syria confirmed their participation in the talks that will be held in Nur-Sultan on June 15-16. According to the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, the delegations of the guarantor states - Russia, Turkey and Iran, as well as the Syrian government and the Syrian armed opposition will participate in the talks. The agenda of the talks includes the situation in Syria, the humanitarian and socio-economic situation, the prospects for the resumption of the work of the Syrian Constitutional Committee in Geneva, confidence-building measures, the release of hostages and the search for missing persons, as well as the creation of conditions for the return of Syrian refugees to their homeland. On June 15, representatives of the guarantor countries intend to hold bilateral and trilateral consultations at the expert level, and on June 16, a plenary meeting with the participation of all parties is scheduled.
