Uzbekistan is seeing rapid growth in youth technoparks, now
established in 13 regions across the country. These hubs aim to engage young
people in science, support their initiatives, and enhance training systems for
modern professions. A prime example is the InnoX business incubator and
accelerator program in Andijan, which has launched 82 startups over three
seasons. One of these startups is Tokcha - a digital platform that provides
users with access to a wide variety of audiobooks.
«The early stages of our project were carried out here.
Following a successful launch, we secured a grant that enabled us to bring the
product to market. We are now analyzing user feedback and continuously refining
our offerings. Recently, we attracted a $20,000 investment to expand our
library of e-books and audiobooks,» said Murodillo Ismailov, author of the Tokcha
project.
Two more startups are being used in the agricultural sector.
They focus on training farmers to use modern technologies for land cultivation
and to increase crop yields. Farmers are also supported with satellite data,
technical maps, and even soil analysis.
«We have introduced a digital solution designed to address
challenges in the agricultural sector, transportation flows, and logistics.
Unlike basic sensors, our system uses satellite imagery to provide farmers with
accurate information on what to plant, where, and when - including weather
forecasts. Previously, we relied on digital logistics platforms from other
countries. Today, we are developing our own monitoring system. We are currently
preparing to participate in a global competition in October, where we aim to
attract up to $500,000 in investment,» said student Bekzodbеk Komilov.
