New cross-border hub to appear in Kazakhstan

Another cross-border hub is set to be established in Kazakhstan. It will be built in the Abai region next year, with over seven billion tenge allocated for this purpose. The Bakhty multifunctional transport and logistics terminal is expected to handle and consolidate cargo. The launch of the hub will increase the throughput capacity of goods and support the development of border infrastructure. Notably, five key cross-border hubs are currently under construction in Kazakhstan. They will be located on the borders with the Kyrgyz Republic, Uzbekistan, Russia, China, and on the Caspian Sea coast.
