The construction of a soda ash production plant will attract nearly 140 billion tenge of investment to Kazakhstan. The venture is going to be opened in Kyzylorda region. The project implementation will allow for creating more than 700 permanent jobs. During a meeting of the State Commission on the Issues of Modernization of the Economy of Kazakhstan, the country’s Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov instructed to consider options for financing the construction of infrastructure and intensively attract investors to the new project.
Another topic of the discussion was the construction of a hotel and tourist complex in Aktau, which will increase the flow of visitors to Mangystau region. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers ordered to speed up the process and consider allocating a budgeting loan to complete the construction.
