Nearly 600 referendum polling stations set up in North Kazakhstan region

Active preparations for the nationwide referendum on the new Constitution are underway in the North Kazakhstan region. Polling stations have been established across the region, and 596 referendum commissions comprising over 3,000 members will oversee the vote. Commission members have completed specialized training and are ready to ensure the process is conducted in full compliance with the law. All polling stations have been fully equipped. Voter lists are currently being updated, and on March 15, more than 360,000 residents of the North Kazakhstan region will be eligible to cast their ballots.

«A total of 596 referendum commissions will be involved in conducting the nationwide referendum in the North Kazakhstan region, including 15 territorial and 581 precinct commissions. The largest number of polling stations is in Petropavl, with 98, while the Akkaiyn district has the fewest — 25,» said Sagyndyk Rakhymzhan, member of the territorial referendum commission in the North Kazakhstan region.
