National Guard conductors’ compositions to be performed at Astana parade

Four musical compositions, written by military conductors of the National Guard, will be performed at the Victory Parade in Astana on May 7. The military orchestra is actively preparing for the event, perfecting its performance. The compositions aim to inspire and boost the morale of service members, according to the authors. Over 4,000 personnel will take part in the parade marking the 80th anniversary of Victory, including 315 military musicians.

«Our orchestra will perform «Shattyq», «General Shakir Dzheksenbayev», and the marches «Eldin Korgany» and «Batyr,» which have become anthems of the law enforcement troops,» said Olzhas Kudaikulov, head of the Military Band Center, Kazakh National Guard.

«The idea of creating the counter-march «Batyr» came to me more than a year ago to expand the repertoire of the National Guard’s military orchestras. This two-part reprise piece has a vivid, resolute, and powerful form. I believe «Batyr» will firmly establish itself in the repertoire of military bands,» said Nail Valiyev, senior officer of the Military Band Center, Kazakh National Guard.
