A group of members of the Kazakh Parliament visited the
field camp of participants in the military parade dedicated to the 80th
anniversary of Victory. They met with the commanders of the parade formations and
military personnel, as well as familiarized themselves with the living and
training conditions. The Parliament members also inspected the uniforms and
samples of firearms for the parade. Notably, the camp is designed to house
5,000 people. Currently, over 200 tents, seven field bath complexes, a
hospital, and a vehicle fleet have been set up.
«The servicemen keep arriving at the tent camp and are
gradually settling in. All the necessary military equipment is being brought
in, and preparations for the upcoming parade are in full swing,» noted Aidos
Sarym, a member of the Mazhilis, the Lower House of the Kazakh Parliament.
«Very impressive. We can see the sense of responsibility
with which they approach the task here. There is still a month to go, but
judging by what we see, the preparations are already at a very high level,» said
Maxim Rozhin, a member of the Mazhilis, the Lower House of the Kazakh
Parliament.
Notably, the parade will feature 24 parade crews, a column
of over 300 units of combat and special equipment, including historical models,
as well as 66 aircraft of various types.
