A large-scale agricultural exhibition, Jańa Dala/Green Day,
was held in the Akmola region. This traditional agricultural forum in the Field
Day format serves as the country’s largest demonstration platform for modern
technologies in the agro-industrial complex, high-performance machinery, and
innovative developments in agricultural production. Companies from more than 20
countries participated, showcasing over 500 units of agricultural machinery and
high-tech equipment. The exhibits attracted significant interest.
«For example, the machinery is moving - a manager walks
behind it, explaining everything. Behind him, a group of our farmers follows, watching
how the equipment works on this particular soil. The managers go door-to-door,
reaching out to every farmer. Beyond the exhibition itself, after collecting
business cards, they follow up with visits,» shared the exhibition organizer Adilkhan
Sagimbayev.
Visitors could explore innovative developments in veterinary
science, agronomy, agrochemistry, and organic farming, as well as advancements
and achievements in genetics, selective breeding, and livestock farming. A best
bull competition was also held, with 30 animals brought from across the country
for the event. These bulls are of the Kazakh white-headed breed, specially
developed for the local climate. Notably, the breed marks its 75th anniversary
this year. As farmers and livestock breeders noted, the Jańa Dala/Green Day
exhibition is an excellent opportunity to explore new technologies, get
acquainted with modern machinery, and exchange experience.
