Logo of fifth World Nomad Games unveiled in Astana

The fifth World Nomad Games under the motto ‘Meeting in the Great Steppe’ will be held in Astana next year. The official logo and slogan of the upcoming international event were revealed in the Kazakh capital. The emblem is designed as a solar symbol of a horseman. The organizers also presented a program of competitions that will be held in 20 national sports and games, as well as intensive cultural and scientific programs. Besides, the ethno-aul will be launched. In general, about 4,000 participants from more than 100 countries will come to Astana. According to preliminary forecasts, at least 100,000 tourists from all over the world will attend the World Nomad Games.

“I invite all countries interested in traditional sports to take part in the fifth World Nomad Games in Astana. We will provide comfortable and safe conditions for all athletes, guests and tourists who will come to the Kazakh capital next September. We are confident that the World Nomad Games will be a true sports festival,” said Yermek Marzhikpayev, the deputy chairman of the organizing committee of the fifth World Nomad Games.
