The signing ceremony for the Roadmap for Trade and Economic Cooperation
between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan was held in Astana. The event took place in
the presence of the presidents of the two countries, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and
Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The document serves as a practical follow-up to the
agreements reached during the Kazakh President’s state visit to Uzbekistan in
November last year. The new projects cover sectors such as industry, petrochemicals,
logistics, metallurgy, agriculture, tourism, and green energy.
