From May 27 to 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to Kazakhstan at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. During the talks, the leaders of the two countries are set to discuss strategic partnership and allied relations. On May 28, Astana will host the Eurasian Economic Forum with the participation of the heads of state of the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. The meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council is scheduled to take place the following day.
