Kazakhstan is set to triple the
volume of machinery product exports by 2028. This is one of the key directions
of the Comprehensive Industry Development Plan for the coming four years. Besides,
the implementation of this document will increase production volumes and
contribute to attracting investments and improving the system of qualified
personnel training. According to experts’ forecasts, there will be a 4.5-fold
increase in gross value added, a twofold increase in the index of physical
volume, and a 1.5-fold increase in investment volume. In general, the
Comprehensive Plan consists of 79 measures in seven directions. It is worthy to
note that the domestic machinery maintains stable growth. Production in this
sector increased by 11 percent at the end of last year and by nearly 30 percent
in the first 10 months of 2023. Since the start of the year, products with a
total value of over three trillion tenge have been manufactured.
