Kazakhstan to provide humanitarian assistance to Pakistan

Kazakhstan will support Pakistan. On the instructions of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Kazakh government will provide humanitarian assistance to the Islamic Republic worth US$400,000. The financial aid will be used to eliminate the consequences of torrential rains and floods, which led to numerous victims. According to the official data, over 1,030 people died from natural disasters in Pakistan. Residential houses and infrastructure were destroyed. About 35 million people were left without shelter and food. Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif turned to the international community for help.
